On the banks of the red cedar, there's a school that's known to all...After a busy move-in and a great lunch with the 'rents and the boy at Harrison Roadhouse, I'm finally unpacked and settled into my dorm. It feels good yet really odd to be back. Although it was [in a lot of ways] a really long summer it seems like i was just here. it's a little eerie to be here on my own, being one of four people on my floor but i think i could use the quiet.
the last couple of days in troy were nice, spent with friends, the boy and family. skipped out on the dream cruise on saturday do to kinda iffy weather but had a great time stayin' in. it's going to be a lonely week now that the boy has left but ash comes home tonight and i'm working a lot at the desk and helping to move in the frosh. what time is not spent working or sleeping, you can bet your ass i will be partying with the best of 'em making up for lost time. it's gonna be an awesome school year. go green, go white!
