spent a lot of quality time with my dad today. grocery shopping, driving, bike rides, hardware store, cooking, watching golf. He's such a dad's dad and I have to say, I am pretty darn lucky in the parent department.
for the first time in a long time, so long i can barely remember how long it's been, i'm spreading my wings and flying solo. only, i'm absolutely miserable.
if i could curl up in a ball and die, i probably would. instead, i start my new job tomorrow.
is it july 4th yet? i'm desperate for chicago.
