...symphony, this life.
the "what if" is a tricky place. on one hand, it's a torturous dead end, with limitless possibilities that leave you wondering and your mind wandering so much so that you can't sleep at night. it's painful, it's a curse, it's forever a gray area. on the other hand, it leaves so much room for the imagination and yet no room for regret. it's great to play with ideas without having to wish you hadn't acted on them. but you'll always wonder, what if i had? there are people in our lives who are solely there to test us, to create as many "what if" situations as they can, to twist and turn your mind by putting all kinds of falsehoods into your head. these people are catalysts for decision making, daydreaming, sleep apnea and all sorts of other conundrums. just goes to show that you should never underestimate the power of those two little words. they can let your mind escape or they can drive you insane. at the end of the day, i can't help but wonder those two seemingly meaningless words myself. and against my will, those words will always be tied to you.
